The goal is to introduce younger children into the class environment.

Class duration is 30 minutes. 

A separate Syllabus has now been produced for the Grasshoppers which will enable the children to be constantly assessed, firstly for their White Belt and then for coloured 'Tags'. These will be coloured, 'Red Tag', 'Yellow Tag', 'Orange Tag', 'Green Tag' and 'Blue Tag' and will be worn on one end of their White Belt. On completion of the 'Blue Tag', Grasshoppers will have completed learning the full requirements to be assessed for their full Red Belt. After achieving their Red/White Belt it does not stop there. The syllabus continues and further assessments will be performed so that Grasshoppers are awarded coloured 'Tags' this time to be worn on their new Belt. The colours will be the same as before with the exception of a 'White Tag' being used instead of a 'Red Tag'. On completion of the Red Belt with 'Blue Tag', Grasshoppers will have completed learning the full requirements to be assessed for their full Yellow Belt. At this stage Grasshoppers may be given the invitation to join the Junior classes.
